| Day one: Kick off with the Viking Splash Tour - This action-packed tour (on land and water) starts at Bull Alley, beside St. Patrick's Cathedral and winds its way through Dublin streets passing major landmarks and into the historic Grand Canal basin. After lunch, it's off to Kilmainham Gaol - Ireland's own Alcatraz! Throughout it's history it has housed many of Ireland's 'infamous rebels' including the leaders of the 1916 rising. No trip to Dublin would be complete without visiting the Guinness Storehouse - a fascinating insight into the history of 'The Black Stuff'. Finish your day with The Ghost Walk Macabre and see the horror, the bizarre and supernatural including Bram Stoker's 'Dracula', Oscar Wilde's 'Dublin Murders', and the famous Hellfire Club. Day two: After breakfast pop across the road to Dublinia - an award-winning exhibition that recreates the sights and sounds of this medieval city offering a fascinating glimpse of Dublin 800 years ago. Mid-morning head out of the city centre to Malahide Castle - set on 250 acres of parkland, the castle was both a fortress and a private home for nearly 800 years and is an interesting mix of architectural styles. For the daring take a ride on the The Malahide Sea Safari - a fantastic speedboat ride around Dublin Bay. Sites include Rockabill Lighthouse, Dublin Bay, Liffey Basin and Dalkey Island. Day three: The day starts with a visit to Dublin Writers Museum - a museum dedicated to the lives and works of Dublin's literary celebrities over the last 300 years, such as Swift, Shaw, Wilde and Yeats. Then it is off to the GAA Museum & Croke Park Stadium for a tour of the biggest sports museum in Ireland. Afternoon at leisure - visit Trinity College, Dublin Castle or wander through the cobbled laneways in Temple Bar and check out the arty shops and galleries.
